In vast lakes, remote aquaculture ponds, or expansive farmlands, the greatest challenge in water quality monitoring is often not the sensors themselves but the difficulties in power supply and communication. To address this obstacle, we have combined solar self powered technology with low-power wide area network (LoRaWAN) to launch this wireless and immediately usable solar water pH sensor, enabling monitoring points to achieve "one-time deployment and online operation throughout the year".
1.working principle
The device employs a synergistic operation of the photovoltaic energy recycling system and electrochemical sensing technology. The high-efficiency polycrystalline silicon solar panels on top convert light energy into electricity, continuously charging the built-in high-capacity low-temperature-resistant battery to ensure long-term self-sustained operation. The core pH probe is based on the glass electrode method, accurately detecting hydrogen ion concentration in water samples and converting it into electrical signals. Data is transmitted over long distances via the onboard LoRaWAN module using the standard LoRa protocol, allowing direct connection to standard LoRaWAN gateways without the need for cumbersome private repeaters.

The equipment utilizes solar energy for self maintenance and transmits pH data remotely to the central control room through LoRaWAN, achieving centralized monitoring of multiple ponds and greatly reducing inspection manpower and wiring costs.

Deploy in reservoirs, upstream rivers, or wetland conservation areas, leveraging the strong diffraction ability and far coverage of LoRaWAN, it can stably transmit data in areas without public network signals, providing continuous and compliant pH monitoring records for environmental protection departments.
3.Irrigation of farmland and orchard management
For scattered wells, reservoirs, or drainage channels, equipment can be installed and used as needed. Solar power supply ensures full season monitoring of crops, and the LoRaWAN gateway can aggregate data from multiple monitoring points to assist in precise irrigation and soil improvement decisions.
